With life being difficult, many have to start over. It happened to me when my wife passed, and my heart broke. I had to start over. It took me over two years to realize many people had it bad or worse. To help me heal I started thinking about what I am thankful for. I created the Hard Moments Journal is for this healing purpose. Write or draw in it-an object, a pleasant experience, or just someone’s name. Take a few minutes and start documenting what you are thankful for.
This book is for Christian men who are planning to marry and who already have some familiarity with the Bible. This book is also for married Christian men who are having trouble with their marriage. I believe there are successful marriages out there not necessarily in need of this book. But in my journeys through churches there are many couples I see in need of the Biblical approach my books teach. I am a witness to the married Christian men struggling in men’s groups. Many asking me questions about their marriage my books answer. Marital knowledge though in the Bible seems to slip by readers’ heart process though they have gone to church and been married many years. I hope to awaken the men to what the Bible is really saying about marriage. Hoping to create a more peaceful, gentler marriage, enlightening readers how the wisdom and application of true Christ likeness, understanding the heart helps a man more easily handle the marital relationship. It is also for men who may know how to love their bride in the spirit of agape but are asking Christ for a reason to continue in what may seem at times like a lonely battle for love. Many teachers quoting the Bible quickly remind you that the heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick: who can understand it? The Bible does teach this negative view of the heart, but don’t forget that the Bible also contains everything needed to understand her heart the way God originally made it and to treat the current fallen state of the heart. I hope it helps you to have a better marriage and to become a better husband, not just a man who has developed worldly argumentative skills to use against his bride.
The book is structured in two parts, with teachings in the first, and a second part that offers meditations for solidifying the Bible’s teachings on how to stay married for life. An understanding of all the information God wants to provide us takes more than one lesson—it may take a lifetime. NEW YORK – When Michael Baez’s wife passed away, his heart was broken. He had to start over again. It took him two years to realize many people had it bad or worse. To help him with his healing process, he started thinking about what he is thankful for as he remembers the good times he had with his wife. He created “How To Pick Your Bride and How To Keep Her For Life: Hard Moments Journal.”
Readers can use this journal to write down any hard moment they can think of. Possibly hard moments created in their marriage, job and life. It does not matter. It is up to them how they would want to use the book. They can even draw in it an object, a pleasant experience, or just someone’s name. Here, they are encourage to take a few minutes to document what they are thankful for.
“I am sure there are many couples who have hard moments in their marriage and many who have had extraordinary hard moments these past few years. We all have experienced many hard moments in our life. But come to think of it, those wonderful, precious times we spent with our loved ones and being thankful for those moments make us feel way better rather than remembering those hard, regrettable moments that happened in our lives,” Baez says. He adds. “This journal is small. It can easily be stored, or can be hidden away.”
When asked what he wants readers to take away from this journal, Baez answered, “It is not my writing. It is theirs. I am just encouraging others to write their story and hopefully, help in their healing process the way it helped me as I learned to appreciate the good moments rather than the bad ones.”
